Neda Agha Soltani – One Voice Of The Iranian Struggle For Freedom From An Oppressive Regime
Neda Soltan was a young woman killed by Iranian Government “Security” Forces in Iran in late June 2009. The footage of her being shot, and dying as filmed on a cell phone camera is a very disturbing scene and further portrays the realities of the situation in Iran under the current regime. Her name, Neda, which roughly translated means “voice” in the local language, has become synonymous with the struggle of the Iranian people against the brutalities that the extreme fundamentalist government of Iran impose on it’s citizens.
